Gladys E. Thompson, 75, of Mondovi, died Friday, June 26, 1998, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire.
She was born in the Town of Canton, Buffalo County, the daughter of Adolph and Selma (Johnson) Christopherson.
She was married to Gerorge Thompson, in Mondovi. She was a homemaker and resided in Mondovi her entire married life.
She was a member of Central Lutheran Church and its ladies organizaions.
She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, George Thompson, Mondovi; seven daughters, Georgia (Todd) Carlson, West Bend, Trina (Danny Marsolek, Mondovi, Beth (Bob) Winsand, Gilmanton, Sherry Thompson, Eau Claire, Tammy Thompson, Mondovi, Nevada Moats, Mondovi, Nancy Thompson, Eau Claire; nine grandchildren, Chad, Chastity, Stephanie, Robby, Benjamin, Jena, Kristine, Zan and Sydni; sister, Elmira Christopherson, Seattle, WA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Selma Christopherson; three brothers, Harry, Merle and Russell Christopherson; two sisters, Leora McMann and Vera Riedel.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Central Lutheran Church, Mondovi. Rev. James Tallman officiated. Burial was in Riverside Lutheran Cemetery, Mondovi.
