Jim R. Alsip, age 58, of West Chester, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017. He was born Friday, January 30, 1959 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Cecil and Cleda (nee Warren) Alsip.

Jim worked as an Insurance Sales Agent for many years. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing, watching the Reds and traveling. Spending time with his family is what brought him the most joy. After having a household of females, Jim was ecstatic with adding grandsons to his family. Getting to horse around with them and accomplishing the goal of watching the boys on the same soccer team will be cherished memory.

Jim was preceded in death by: his parents, Cecil and Cleda Alsip.

Jim is survived by: his wife of 35 years, Kim (nee House) Alsip; daughters, Sara (Michael) Ganucheau, Monica (Tom DePew) Alsip and Jenna Alsip; grandsons, Jaden Ganucheau, Bentley DePew, Keagen Ganucheau, Nolan Ganucheau and Levi DePew; sister, Barb (Bill) Jahn; brother, Kevin W. Maynard; brothers-in-law, Ted (Lisa) House and Tim (Julie) House; sister-in-law, Brenda House; many loving extended family members; numerous friends he loved as family including their close circle on the cul-de-sac.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 8, 2017 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Funeral Service will be Friday at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to: Toys for Tots
