Mary Virginia Cason, 77, of 120 Bookerdale Rd., died Friday, November 17, 2006 at Avante' of Waynesboro. She was born September 5, 1929 in Staunton the daughter of the late Oscar and Mary H. Lambert Cason.
She was a member of Wayne Hills Baptist Church, a former employee of General Electric of Waynesboro and retired as a beautician.
Survivors include her husband, Henry L. Cason, a son, Steven L. Cason and his wife Patrice Gorman Cason of Conn., a daughter, Marilyn C. Davis and her husband Craig Davis of Florida, three grandchildren, Shane M. Cason and his wife Mary, Sean Gardiner, Amber M. Cason and one great-granddaughter, Brynn L. Cason.
A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at the Waynesboro Chapel or Reynolds Funeral Service by Pastor Mike Beverly. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will be Les Dixon, Nolan Clark, Bob Rankin, Mickey Bailey, Tommy Fortune, Ray Pangle and Kelly Clendening.
Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Yates and friends attending the service.
