MRS. E.C. ACHORD - Services To Be Tomorrow For Former Memphian - Services for Mrs. Fannie M. Achord, former Memphian who died Friday afternoon in San Diego, Calif., will be at 11 tomorrow morning at Memphis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park. Mrs. Achord, wife of E.C. Achord, a contractor, died after a series of strokes starting Thanksgiving Day. She was 65. Born near Middleton, Tenn., Mrs. Achord came to Memphis after her marriage and moved to San Diego with her husband about 15 years ago. While in Memphis she worked for American Snuff Co., now Conwood Corp., and was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church. She also leaves a daughter, Mrs. Lucille Lightell of 4660 Marcel; two brothers, L.F. Stewart of 3531 Ardmore and G.D. Stewart of 310 North Montgomery, and one granddaughter.
