Sweet Home Baker Drops Dead at Job
LEBANON, Oct. 15 — (Special) Mrs. Marie Elizabeth Gantenbein, proprietor of the Sweet Home bakery, died of a heart attack late Friday morning while waiting on customers in the bakery.
Born Jan. 6, 1895, in Iowa, Mrs. Gantenbein had resided in Sweet Home for the past year. Previously she had lived for 40 years in Salem.
Survivors are the widower, Lloyd J. Gantenbein of Sweet Home; a son, Cecil James Gantenbein of Sweet Home, and a brother, James E. Bunnell of Salem.
The body was taken to W. T. Rigdon company in Salem for services.
