The 15 Sep 1895 birthdate on the 1941 TN Delayed Birth Certificate is incorrect. Her father died in Nov 1892. Found her birthdate as September 15, 1892, instead of 1895. The sources for the record is a family bible.

Lelia's husband died two months before their son Milton was born in 1917. Shortly after Milton was born, Lelia, her daughter Martha Emma, Milton, and Lelia's brother, Arthur Dyer and his new bride left for Colorado Springs. Lelia's oldest son, Joe Warren remained in Obion County with his grandparents.

Before 1920, Lelia married Otis Combs. His daughter by a previous marriage, Cecelia Beatrice Combs, was living with Otis, Lelia, Martha, and Milton in 1920. After their son, Frank Combs, was born in 1921, Otis and Lelia divorced, and Joe Warren Calhoun came to Colorado Springs. The 1930 Colorado census records Lelia and her children, Joe Warren, Martha, Milton White Calhoun, and Frank Combs. Lelia then married William Wease briefly, then Kenneth Belcher.

After 1935 they moved to Obion County with their daughter and Milton Calhoun. They lived on the farm of her mother and her brother, Willie, both who died in 1937. Milton went on to Los Angeles before 1940 but returned to Colorado later. In late 1941 or 1942, Kenneth, Lelia, and their daughter returned to Colorado. Lelia and Kenneth divorced and Lelia then married Claude Sly in 1946. Joseph Warren moved to Arizona after 1930 and to Los Angeles by 1940. Martha married and moved to Seattle but returned to Denver by 1940.
