Born on April 28, 1916 in Simpsonville, MD to the late Cridlin Goodman and Pearl Day Goodman, Mr. Goodman grew up on a farm and worked in the dairy. He started working for Western Maryland Dairy before working for Pepsi Cola and then Old American Brewery.
He enjoyed fishing, making his own fly ties, gardening and yard work.
Mr. Goodman is survived by his daughter,& son, and his wife 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter. He is preceded in death by 3 brothers, James, Alan, and Eugene Goodman and sister, Irene.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at Mt Zion Cemetery in Highland, MD.
