Richard Lee West, 82 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Sept. 3, 2012 at Worthington Manor Nursing Facility.
He was born April 9, 1930 in Wood County, W.Va., a son of the late Andy L. and Ova Dodge West. He was a graduate of Parkersburg High School and retired after working 42 years at Union Carbide as a foreman. He coached baseball and was a longtime member of North Parkersburg Baptist Church. He had attended New Hope Baptist Church and was currently a member of South Parkersburg Baptist Church.
