During World War II, Margaret worked as a medical stenographer at Balboa Hospital in the Panama Canal Zone. It was there that she met and married Theodore Arnold "Ted" AANSTOOS, Jr. in 1943. After several brief moves, the AANSTOOS family made their way back to Taylor, Texas in 1953 where they lived until Ted's death in 1978 and where Margaret continued to live until her death. Ted and Margaret were blessed with four sons and two daughters.
Margaret was a devoted mother who embraced the values of love, honesty, fairness, and generosity and imparted these values to her children and all those with whom she came in contact. She touched the lives of many through her volunteer work at John's Community Hospital. She was a long-time Cub Scout Leader and a eucharistic minister at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Taylor.
