Mr. Donald R. “Don” Adams, age 79 of Lexington, Ky and formerly of Graves County, Ky passed away on May 22, 2017 at Baptist Health Lexington, Ky.

He was a Graduate of Morehead State University and worked in the chemical industry throughout his career. Mr. Adams was raised, baptized, and a former member of Wingo Baptist Church. At the time of his passing, he was a member of Highlands Baptist Church, Lexington, Ky and was a member of Gideon’s International.

Mr. Adams is survived by his college sweetheart and wife of 57 years- Peggy Adams of Lexington, Ky; son- Dale (Janet) Adams of Indian Trail, Nc; one daughter- DonAnn Adams Osborne of Lexington, Ky; six grandchildren- Elizabeth (Luke) LaPlant, Alex Gaebe, Camden (Amanda) Adams, John Gaebe, Griffin (Londa) Adams, and Mila Adams Osborne; one great-granddaughter- Mary LaPlant; two brothers- Dr. Gene Adams of White House, Tn and James Adams of Brookville, Fl.

He was preceded in death by his brother- Dr. Bobby Adams; parents- Reece & Edith Enoch Adams.

Graveside Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Wingo Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Oakley and Bro. Gene Adams officiating. Family & friends are asked to meet at the Cemetery at the service time.
