Gene Alford Bradley of Burleson, 74, passed peacefully Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017, in Burleson, Texas. FUNERAL: 10 a.m. Friday at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Laurel Land. Gene was born Sept. 20, 1943, to Albert Bradley and Myrtle Bomar Bradley of Alvarado, Texas. He married his one true love, Janis Shults Bradley, Aug. 16, 1961. Gene worked for Ben Hogan Golf Equipment. He was passionate about his work. Many employees say he was the best boss they have ever had. He believed in treating people right. Gene's greatest joy in life was his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Linda. SURVIVORS: Wife, Janis Bradley, of 56 years; son, James and wife, Barbara, of Burleson, Texas, and their two daughters; son, Daniel and wife, Dana, of Alvarado, Texas, and their two sons and one daughter; daughter, Debbie Bradley Penny and husband, Chris, of Waxahachie, Texas, their two children.
