Clara H. Scaffidi, 72, of Glassboro, died Friday at Rainbow Rehabilitation Center, Pittsgrove. Born in the Cecil section of Monroe, Mrs. Scaffidi (nee Rumph * Edit: Rumpf) lived in Glassboro for 46 years. She worked for RCA in Camden and the Nut and Gift Shop in Glassboro for more than 20 years before retiring. She is survived by three sons, William R. Jr. of Buena and Glen A. and Timothy D., both of Glassboro; three sisters, Betty Camiolo of Glassboro, Anna Karpuk of Egg Harbor Township and Elsie of Hammonton; and seven grandchildren. Friends may call Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main St., Williamstown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Bridget's Church, Church Street, Glassboro. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Williamstown. Contributions may be made to St. Bridget's Regional School, 25 High St, Glassboro 08028.
