Mary Velma (Birtch) Abbott, long-time resident of La Mirada, passed away on October 1, 2016 after a short illness.

Mary was born on February 17, 1934 in Ingersoll, Ontario, Canada. She was predeceased by her husband, Clayton Abbott, brother, Ken, and parents, Hugh and Pearl Birtch. She is already missed by her daughter and husband, Linda and Ed Timmons, grandson Scott Henders, granddaughter and husband Staci and Chad Heater. She will be dearly missed by her four great grandchildren: Ian Henders, Von, Quinn and Wade Heater. She is also survived by her brother, Ron Birtch.

Graveside services will be held at Rose Hills Memorial Park on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the La Mirada Ebell Club will be appreciated. White Emerson Mortuary Assisting 562-698-0304
