Lois A. Brown Kuhn, 84,
of Wolfsville Rd. Smithsburg, MD, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018.
Born Saturday, December 2, 1933 in Foxville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Anges Girlaw Brown and Haven Pearl (Lewis) Kendall.
She was preceded in death by her husband Basil H. Kuhn, one sister, Josephine P. Lewis and one brother, Donald G. Wolfe. Her last employment was at Hagerstown Shoe factory where she worked for 29 years. She previously worked at Thurmont Canning Factory, Cavetown Canning Factory, Cavetown Shoe Factory and Waynesboro Tool Company.
She is survived by one son, Basil E. Kuhn, Sr. and wife Carolyn, two grandsons, Basil E. Kuhn, Jr. and wife Melissa and Joseph E. Kuhn and wife Dawn, six great - grandchildren, Basil Kuhn III, Lanie Kuhn Waugh, Hayley Kuhn Manuel, Maranda Kuhn, Joey Kuhn and Eric Kuhn and ten great-great grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 11:00am at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, with Pastor Ronald Kurtz officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Foxville, MD. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7-9pm at the funeral home.
