Veronica A. Jilek, 74, of Rice Lake died Feb. 25 at Care Partners Center in Rice Lake. Funeral services were wednesda norning at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rice Lake, with the Rev. Jim Powers officiating. Burial was at the Bohemian Cemetery in Haugen, Wis.
Mrs. Jilek was born Sept. 1, 1932 in Rice Lake to Ben and Mary (Willger) Richter. She married Robert Jilek in Rice Lake on Dec. 28, 1948, and he died on April 3, 1996.
She is survived by two sons, Tom of Dallas, Texas, and Ron of Midlothian, Texas; three daughters, Beverly Jilek of Haugen, Sue Johnson of Cameron and Connie Jilek of Rice Lake; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Max Marshall of Haugen and Irene Flach of Rice Lake; and four brothers, Laurence and Louie, both of Rice Lake, and Sylvester and Francis, both of Cameron.
