Elbert "Ed" Claytor Dorgan, Jr., 68, of Lecompte, died Monday, March 5, 2007, in Northshore Regional Medical Center, Slidell.
Mr. Dorgan was a retiree from UNISYS after 27 years of employment and from Homeland Security and Immigrations in Oakdale. He was a CW-2 with the Louisiana National Guard and retired after 20 plus years of service. "Mr. Ed" was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed doting on all of his family. Mr. Dorgan was always available to help family or friends and much of his life was spent helping other people achieve their goals.
Ed Dorgan is survived by his wife of 27 years, Winona "Nona" Broussard Dorgan of Lecompte; one son, Richard Dorgan of Shreveport; four daughters, Debbie Lopez of Shreveport, Vickie Doane, Sharon Davis, and Becky Thomas all of Texas; three stepchildren Robert Morrisette, Scott Morrisette, and Yvie M. Williams, twenty-one grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
