Crestline - Elmer L. Pollock, 81, of 127 Pierce St., Crestline, died Thursday night in Crestline Memorial Hospital.
He was born April 17, 1901, in Little Washington and in 1966 retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad where he had been a machinist for 33 years. He was a member of the Leesville United Methodist Church, the Crawford County Coon Hunters Association and the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen.
He is survived by his wife, Millie M. Simmons Pollock, whom he married July 14, 1923; two sons Wilbur of Sulphur Springs and Leonard of Galion; three daughters, Mrs. Harl (Leona) Hoffman of Leesville and Mrs. Milton (Neva) Phelps of Caledonia and Mrs. Donald (Pat) Nesbitt of Mt. Gilead; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five sisters, Mrs. Fred (Dora) Schrader of Bellville, Mrs. Erie (Linnie) Reynolds and Mrs. Allen (June) Williams, both of Mansfield. Mrs. Clark (Leah) Bailey of Mississippi and Mrs. Ross (Velma) Johnston of Zanesville. He was preceded in death by one son and one brother. Services are incomplete in charge of the Mark A. Pollock Services - Crestline - services for Elmer L. Pollock, 81, of 127 Pierce St. will be held Monday at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home by the Rev. Rose Wilson.
