Crestline - Millie M. Pollock, 90, formerly of 127 Pierce St., died this morning in Heartland of Bucyrus Nursing Home.
She was born August 19, 1900, in Butler. She was the daughter of Andrew and Nancy Herring Simmons, both now deceased.
She was married July 14, 1923 to Elmer LeRoy Pollock, who preceded her in death February 10, 1983.
Mrs. Pollock had lived in Crestline since 1930, when she moved from Mansfield. She was a member of the Leesville United Methodist Church and the Golden Age Club. She worked 10 years as a dietitian at Crestline Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by two sons, Wilbur Pollock of Sulphur Springs and Leonard Pollock of Galion; three daughters, Leona Hoffman of Leesville, Neva Phelps of Bucyrus and Pat Nesbitt of Mount Gilead; 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, four brothers and three sisters.
Services will be held Friday in the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home by the Rev. Rose Wilson. Burial will be in Bunker Hill Cemetery, Butler. - News-Journal (Mansfield, Ohio), Wednesday, October 24, 1990.
