Gary Adair died at the age of 54 at his home in Greensboro, Georgia. He was the son of Helen Marie (Boyd) Hayden and John Adair Sr. He graduated from North Marion High School in Florida and Cummins Diesel Engine School. He was an Expert Diesel Mechanic and worked at several places, which included Capital City and Pennington Seed in Madison, Georgia. He also had a strong faith and loved preaching the Gospel. He enjoyed auctions, flea markets, and antiques. He was a founding member of the Charity Old Regular Baptist Church where he also served as an assistant moderator. He was preceded in death by his father, John Adair Sr. He is survived by: His mother, Helen Hayden, and his step-father, Roy Hayden, of Greensboro, Georgia, his wife, Terri (Young) Adair of Greensboro, Georgia, four daughters, Nicole Mowery of Ocala, Florida, Nancy Reid of Ocala, Florida, Faith Oliver of Pittsview, Alabama, and Kayla Adair of Augusta, Georgia, three sisters, Susan Adair of Skipperville, Alabama, Nancy Brooks of Vera Beach, Florida, and Sandy Adair of Ocala, Florida, a brother, John Adair Jr., of Greensboro, Georgia, plus 15 grandchildren.
