Irene E. Affinito, 75, of Springdale, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, in Briarcliff Pavilion, North Huntingdon Township. She was born April 30, 1937, in Elizabeth, to the late Fred and Irene Russell Clark. Mrs. Affinito lived most of her life in Harmarville and was a cashier for Giant Eagle in Harmar Township for many years. Survivors include her daughter, Annette (Wayne) Jones, of North Huntingdon Township; three sons, Nick (Sharon) Affinito, of Harper Ferry, W.Va., Mark Affinito, of Springdale, and Kent (Peg) Affinito, of East Deer Township; 11 grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephanie, Jamie Lee, Claire, Calvin, Dustin, Brandon, Ashley, Josh, Derek and Connor; brother, Robert "Red" (Nancy) Clark, of Clairton; and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Clark, of Tennessee. Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Chapman; and two brothers, Elmer and Eugene Clark. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the CHARLES B. JARVIE FUNERAL HOME INC., 801 Pittsburgh St., Springdale, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Steve Wilson of Oakmont Presbyterian officiating.
