Abdullah Bhatti (1550-1599) better known as 'Dulla' Bhatti , was a famous Punjabi folk hero and freedom fighter who resisted the Mughal Empire during his lifetime. He is also often called the 'Robin Hood of the Punjab'. He was finally captured and executed by hanging in Lahore, by the Mughals , and buried in the old Miani Sahib Graveyard , Lahore, Punjab. His grave is a shrine of sorts for many people.
