Gladys C. Petroski, 78, of Madison Twp., died Sunday at the Meadows at Scranton. She was the widow of Stanley G. Petroski.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Julia (Szufuera) Ewasko. Throughout her life Gladys worked as a seamstress, at A&G Hat in Scranton and at Allied Services before she retired. She was a member of the Polish National Union in Scranton and of the Church of St. Catherine of Siena, Moscow.

Surviving are her 5 children, and three grandchildren,
She was also preceded in death by her son, William V.; and her 11 brothers and sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. in the Church of St. Catherine of Siena, 220 Church St., Moscow, by the Rev. Robert J. Simon. Interment with rite of committal will follow in St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow.
