YORK Charles E. Horn, 73, passed away Friday, March 2, 2007, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Carol A. (Smith) Horn. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. Officiating at the service will be Pastor Drew Russell. Viewings will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10 a.m., both at the funeral home. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Mr. Horn was born in York, on October 5, 1933, a son of the late William W. and Edna G. (Snelbaker) Horn. He retired from both Certain Teed Company in York and York Building Products. He was a member of Victory Athletic Club, York V.F.W. Post 556, and the Pleasureville American Legion. Mr. Horn leaves two daughters, Cheryl A. Anthony of York and Julie J. Green of Arkansas; six grandchildren, Chenoa Cavanaugh Alvarez of California, Alesha Anthony of York, JoNell Marrero Condray of Arkansas, Matthew Guyer of Germany, Richard Guyer of Arkansas, and Zachary Anthony of Coudersport; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mildred Erwin of York. A grandson, Craig "C.J." Anthony, preceded him in death. I
