She also made many friends working in the school cafeteria at Mechaniscville Elementary School and .camo Hanover. When she wasn't watching The Price is Right or Jeopardy, she always tuned in to cheer on the Virginia Tech Hokies and Denny Hamlin. She was a devoted believer of Christ and a selfless mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great aunt.
The family received friends on August 3, 2017, at 5:00 p.m, followed by a celebration of life at 6:00 p.m, at Gethsemane Church of Christ in Mechaniscville.
