∼MARINA - Sherman Wince, 81, passed away in the early morning hours of April 11, 2011.
Sherman, the son of Ross and Esther Wince, originally from Dupree, SD, served his country for 20 years in the U.S. Army. Retiring in Marina, he enjoyed his family, yard and, beautiful apple trees. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Goldie Wince; sons, William (Ruth) Wince, Thomas (Brona) Wince, Steve Wince and daughter, Elaine (Lucky) Turner; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Gordon (Carole) Wince, Donald (Charleen) Wince and sister, Nyla (Charles) Schad.
A celebration of Sherman's life will be held at Community of Christ Church at 414 Reindollar Avenue, Marina today, Thursday, April 14, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00pm. Please bring your fondest memory to share. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Sherman's name to your favorite charity.
