Retired Chicago Police Officer, past Grand Knight Knights of Columbus Father Perez Council # 1444, formerly of Chicago, Ill., and Paddock Lake, Wis., passed away peacefully July 7, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his brother Donald G. (Joan); greatnephew, SPC Jared D. Stanker and Michael "Mickey" Cochrane. He is survived by his partner Darlene Cochrane; his children Lynn Moonan-Palermo and Michael (Sheri); adored Papa to Rowan, Riley, Michael, Joseph, Ryan, Daniel, Katie, Kelly and Tess Cochrane; and Ned and Eleanor Ahlberg. Loved like a step father by Shawn (Ronald) Ahlberg and John "Jack" Cochrane. Dear uncle and friend to many. Visitation Thursday (today) from 3:00-9:00pm.
