Mrs. Madeline Braswell Adams, age 79 of Axson, Ga., passed away early Saturday evening at her home following an extended illness.

Barbara Metts of Douglas, Ga.
Mary Luke and husband Keith of Axson, Ga.
Sylvia Josey and husband Ricky of Hazlehurst, Ga.

Jimmy Adams and wife Kitty of Axson, Ga.
Bo Adams and wife Bonnie of Cogdell, Ga.
2 Sisters: Betty Ansley of Barnesville, Ga.
Bonnie Adams and husband Bo of Cogdell, Ga.
30 Grandchildren, 64 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Grandchild, several nieces, several nephews, and other family members also survive.
Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband Mitchell T. "Buddy" Adams, her son John Adams, and her daughter Bobbie Jean Smith.
Funeral services for Mrs. Adams will be held at 11:00 A. M. Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at The Indian Mound Church in Millwood, GA. with Rev. Clayton Davis, Bro. Ronnie Hardee, and Bro. Benji Adams officiating. The interment will follow in the Indian Mound Cemetery.
The Viewing for Mrs. Adams will be held at The Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. this afternoon, Sunday July 23, 2017, from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.
A viewing will also be held Monday evening from 5:00 – 9:00 P.M. at the Indian Mound Church in Millwood, Ga.
