The funeral service for Mary Elizabeth DeVane, age 39, who died after 10 years of complications from a previous head injury, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, at Central Baptist Church in Daytona Beach.

Mary was born to Wesley and Marjorie Warr in Dover, Del., on May 21, 1961. She was a youth services social worker and minister throughout her adult life, but her first love was her family. She was a devoted wife and mother of five children whom she loved dearly. Mary touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She met and married her husband, Steve, 15 years ago and together they ministered in Virginia prior to moving to Ormond Beach nine years ago.

She is survived by her husband, Steve, and her five children, Benjamin Joseph, 13, Jeramy Lucas, 12, Stephanie Hope, 10, and twins, Noah Steven Wesley and Emily Elizabeth, 4 years old. She is also survived by her parents, Wes and Margie Warr of Hampton, Va.; her three brothers, Ralph Taylor of Logan, Ohio, Rodney Taylor of Smithfield, Va., and Wesley M. Warr III of Newport News, Va.; and her sister, Lynn Ptroich of Franklin, N.J.

Arrangements are under the direction of Ormond Funeral Home.
