S. A. BANGERT DIES; ILL BUT SHORT TIME
S. A. Bangert, 284 Grand Avenue, died at Mercy Hospital at 10 o'clock this morning He had been ill for a week and an operation had been performed in an effort to save his life.
Mr. Bangert was born in Kewaunee, Wis., Oct. 24, 1866. He came to Oshkosh in 1905 and had lived in this city since that time. He was employed by the H. C. Roenitz Company of this city as a salesman for many years.
Mr. Bangert was a member of the Modern Woodmen.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Helena Bangert; two sons, Harold Bangert, Sturgeon Bay; and John Bangert, Oshkosh; a daughter, Mrs. Bernard Korsch, Oshkosh; and three sisters, Mrs. Henry Steingraber, Kewaunee; Mrs. Mary Bogels, Rhinelander; and Mrs. Elizabeth Poser, San Bernardino, Calif.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 8:30 o'clock at the Fiss & Bills funeral home and at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic church with the Rev. William A. Reul officiating. Interment will be at Calvary cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday afternoon and until the time of the service.
