Orley Armold Called.
Last Sunday evening Orley Armold died at his home in Kendall, after suffering for several weeks with typhoid fever. It was reported Saturday that he was gaining and it was thought that he had a fair chance of recovery, but he suffered a relapse which he could not survive.
Orley Lee Armold was born in Union City, Ohio, in September, 1875. He was unmarried and his only near relatives are his brother, Harry, who lives on a ranch near here, and a sister who lives in Los Angeles, California.
During the Spanish American war, Orley enlisted with the 6th Illinois Volunteers. After the discharge of his regiment he came to Montana and located at Kendall where he has since resided. At the time of is death he was a member of the firm of Smith & Armold of the Rock saloon. He had a host of friends whom he had won by his honesty, and openhearted, genial ways.
The funeral services were held at the opera house conducted by Rev. T. A. Stancliffe, assisted by the local union W.F. of M. and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, of which organization he was a member. The interment was held at the Lewistown cemetery.

Orley L. Armold, son of J.F. Armold, arrived in Lewistown last week from Illinois. Father and son had not met before in nearly twenty years. Mr. Armold will probably locate in this section.
