Gerald Litterly, 80, passed away at 7:53 a.m. on July 3, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Illinois after a courageous battle with cancer.

Gerald Frederick Litterly was born December 8, 1936 in rural Lake Fork, Illinois, to Jesse Earl and Rosie Mae Litterly.

He married Barbara Carol Cyrulik, December 24, 1958. They had three sons, Steven, Jeffery, and James. She preceded him in death.

He married Connie Fisher, February 2, 1994. She preceded him in death. Gerald farmed in the Mt. Pulaski area until his death, for over 60 years. He also lived on the Centennial Family Farm. He was a member of the Lake Fork Christian Church and the Masonic Lodge #87 A.F.&M. Mt. Pulaski, Illinois.

He leaves behind three sons, Steven, Jeffrey (Susan), and James (Jan); five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Gerald loved life and loved spending time with his grandchildren and his dog Jazzie.

Gerald was also preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Forrest Litterly.
