Hughes will be tomorrow in St. Sabina Catholic Church, W. 78th Pl. and S. Throop St., at 10:30am, when a solemn Mass will be sung. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Mrs. Hughes, who lived at 7610 S. May St., died Friday, July 29, in Illinois Central Hospital. Her family did not disclose her age. Mrs. Hughes' husband is a retired motorman out of the 77th St. C.T.A. depot. He is a retired board member of the C.T.A. Union Division 241. Surviving are her husband, Thomas J., her sons John J. (Mae) , C.P.D., Patrick T. (Lucille)., daughters Mrs. Kathleen (Francis) Gaughan and Mrs. Helen (James) Mescall. Another daughter, Mrs. Marguerite (Edward) Heirty and Mrs. Hughes' brothers and sisters died previously. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren. Mrs. Hughes was born in County Galway, Ireland and had lived in the southtown area for more than forty years.
