Joanne was the wife of the late Richard L. McCombs, with whom she shared 40 years of marriage. Born in Darby, PA to the late Joel Albert Dischert and Alberta Parker Haughey Dischert, Joanne lived in Glenolden before moving to Brookhaven in 1967. She was the secretary for Messiah Lutheran Church in Newtown Square, and was active with the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
She is survived by daughter Debra A. McCombs of Brookhaven, sons Richard L. McCombs Jr. of Brookhaven, and Mark J. McCombs of Aston, grandchildren Joy, Brittany, Brett, Kaitlin, Ashley, Mark Jr. and Steven McCombs, and her brother, Richard Dischert of Aldan, PA.
