PEMBERTON, ALMA Beatrice Roberts

MORELAND - Alma Beatrice Roberts Pemberton, 90, formerly of Hustonville, died Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at Christian Care Center of Lancaster where she was a resident.
Born July 17, 1916, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Maggie Leathers Roberts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Granison Pemberton, and two grandsons.

Survivors include two sons, Earl Van (Betty) Pemberton of Junction City and J.W. "Dub" (Brenda) Pemberton of Hustonville; nine daughters, Alice Jean (Roger) Hopton of Shelby, Ohio, Martha Jane (Bernie) Schaefer of Sebring, Ohio, Ruby Irene Jessie of Stanford, Beulah Gay (Cecil) Pendergraft of Hustonville, Rose Marie (Glen) Traylor of Hustonville, Vina June Brown of Hustonville, Marilyn Ann Mills of Danville, Carol Jo (Johnny) Reed of Hustonville and Alma Inez (Larry) Goode of Stanford; a brother, Hershel Roberts of Moreland; three sisters, Letha Rousey of Danville, Jane Martin of Stanford and Marie Stroup of Central City; 27 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by G.W. Smith, with burial in Hustonville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Reed, Larry Goode, Jason Reed, Shannon Brown, Edwin Allen and Chad Traylor. Honorary pallbearers are members of the staff of Christian Care Center.
