Amy died on the night of 20 December, 1940 during the "Christimas" air raid over Liverpool and Merseyside. She died at the family home, 121 Bridge street, Birkenhead, Cheshire, England. She was 16 years old. She's buried a Common War Grave Commissioned grave at Landican cemetery, Birkenhead.
In 1942 her nephew John Joseph Parry son of her sister Elizabeth died in infancy from illness. He was buried alongside Amy.∼Civilian War Dead
