Heather Geraldine Ireland Manning, of Corsicana went home to our Lord Sunday, June 11, 2017 and is now resting in His arms. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was 51 years old.

Heather was born Oct. 27, 1965 in Bethesda, Maryland to the late Richard and Mary Ireland. She was raised in a large Catholic family of seven children. After leaving Maryland, she moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho and ultimately settled in Mansfield. There she met Billy Manning, the love of her life, whom she was married to for 31 years. Together they raised three beautiful and talented children, Joseph, Sarah and Billy whom she was ever so proud.

Heather was full of life and infectiously happy. She brought joy to everyone she met, from family members to complete strangers. Being such a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, as well as her love for others was the trademark of her beautiful life.

She is survived by her beloved husband William (Billy) Manning of Corsicana; three children, Joseph Manning and wife Jennifer of Mont Belvieu, Sarah Manning of Waxahachie and LB Manning, USMC of Corsicana; two grandchildren; brothers Richard of Thurmont, Maryland, William (Jane) of Frederick, Maryland, and John (Lisa) of Louisville, Kentucky; sisters Shannon Magro (John) of Frederick, Maryland and Kathleen Popores (Greg) of Wilton, New Hampshire; and Kerry Ireland of Salisbury, Maryland.

She will be dearly missed and live forever in our hearts.

Heather gave of herself always...thinking of how to help others before herself as our Lord taught us to do. Her belief in serving is tied to her final gift on earth; donating her strong loving heart, her pure lungs to breathe the air she cherished, and her kidneys to purify the blood. Heather's message of kindness and selfless giving will never end or be forgotten.

A time of visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Corley Funeral Home located at 418 N. 13th, Corsicana, TX 75110 with a Rosary at 7 p.m. with Deacon Lewis Palos officiating.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday June 16, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 3000 W. State Hwy 22, Corsicana, Texas 75110 with Father Marco Rangel officiating.
