Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Edna Brown, 77, who died Monday morning in Greenville after a year's illness, will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Gray-Sorrells chapel with burial in Forest Park cemetery.

The Rev. Neal Jones will be in charge.

Mrs. Brown is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Byron Faulkner, Greenville, and Mrs. S.D. Ladyman (sic), Beaumont; two sons, Marcus Everett Brown, Greenville, and Thomas Fitzhugh Brown, Chicago; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. E.A. Lamb, Houston, and Mrs. H.K. Brown, Lubbock; one brother, Vernon R. Robertson, Waco.

Mrs. Brown was born May 13, 1879, at Kosse, Tex., daughter of L.L. Robertson and Bessie Wood, and was reared in that town. She married Dr. Edward F. Brown about 60 years ago and they made their home in Cooper, coming to Greenville in 1910. She was the organist at the Baptist church in Kosse when a young woman, And (sic) a member of the First Baptist church in Greenville.

At the time of her death she was making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Byron Faulkner.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Edna Brown, 77, were to be held at 4 o'clock this afternoon at the Gray-Sorrells Chapel with the Rev. Neal Jones, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating.

Mrs. Brown died Monday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Byron Faulkner, with whom she had been making her home.

She was born on May 13, 1879, at Kosse, Tex., daughter of L.L. Robertson and Bessie Wood Robertson. She was married to Dr. Edward F. Brown and they made their home in Cooper before coming to Greenville in 1910.

Survivors besides Mrs. Faulkner are another daughter, Mrs. S.D. Ladyman (sic), Beaumont; two sons, Marcus Everett Brown, Greenville, and Thomas Fitzhugh Brown, Chicago; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. E.A. Lamb, Houston, and Mrs. N.K. Brown, Lubbock, and one brother, Vernon R. Robertson, Waco.

Pallbearers for the services will be Jake Scott, Ray Hamilton, Martin Luhn, H.W. Inglish, W.L. Craig, and L.W. Wallace. Burial will be in Forest Park cemetery.
