Judith O. Aageson, age 74 of Fenton, died Monday, August 15, 2016 at Tanglewood Assisted Living.

Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.

Judy was born in Flint, Michigan on January 19, 1942, the daughter of Arthur and Odile Aagesen.

She graduated from Bendle High School in 1959 and from Ferris State Institute in 1963 with a degree in Pharmacy. She lived in California, Texas, Florida and Michigan, where she worked as a Pharmacist in various community pharmacies.

The final ten years of Judy's career were at the U of M Hospital Discharge Pharmacy.

Judy was very athletic all her life, she was an avid golfer and a small airplane pilot.

She owned her own plane when she lived in California and flew in several 'Powder Puff' Derby's. She helped transport new planes from the west coast to buyers in the Midwest and East Cost for Cessna.

Judy liked everyone and loved to help people, especially children. She had a deep love for animals and had two special dogs, Buffy and Bridget.

Surviving are longtime friend, Sharon Miner and her two children,
Mike Sampson and Rob Sampson and his wife Naarah and their daughter, Starling;

her mother, Odile M. Aagesen;
brother, Henry and wife Yvonne Aagesen and their daughter, Jacqueline Chartrand; her husband Brian and daughter, Olivia;
sister-in-law, Sandra Aagesen and her daughter, Jessica Aagesen and
grandson, Cameron Hertzberg.

She was preceded in death by father, Arthur Aagesen; brother, Leonard Aagesen; sisters, Lizabeth Aagesen and Helen Aagesen.
