Larry was born in Owosso, MI on April 8, 1953, the son of Bernard Leroy and Shirleen Kay (Secor) Bennett. He married Robin Maurer in Owosso, MI on January 29, 1972. Larry was a graduate of Howell High School, class of 1972. He was Vice-President of the Home Builders Association in Owosso and was co-owner of L.A. Bennett Construction, Inc. which was established in 1979. He was also a former member of the Perry DDA. Larry enjoyed working on his '65 pro-street truck and fishing. He could truly do it all, he loved to build, weld, do block work, masonry and finish carpentry. He was a perfectionist and was a good leader and mentor to many.
Larry is survived by his wife, Robin; daughter, Alisha (Mark) Todd; special son, Eric Nohel; mother, Shirleen; brothers: Mike (Deb) Bennett and Bernie Bennett; mother-in-law Gene Maurer, special sister-in-law and brother-in-law Denese and Jim Pavwoski, many nieces, nephews and special friends that were like family.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Bernard; son, Tracy Allan Bennett; sisters: Sandy and Karen Bennett and his father-in-law, RD Maurer.
