Svea Anderson, 79, Rockford, died Sat., April 9, 1988, in her home. Born Aug. 18, 1908, in Rockford, daughter of C.J. Herman and Anna Magnuson Nelson. Lived most of her life in Rockford. Married Harry Nyquist in Rockford in 1926; he died in Rockford in 1945. Then married Harry Anderson in Rockford in 1954; he died in Florida in 1976. Member Salem Lutheran Church and active in church choir; also sang with Rockford Lutheran Choral Union, Mothers Singers and with Deerfield, FL church choir.
Survivors include two sons, Richard (Irene) Nyquist, Dr. Roger Nyquist; two stepsons, Harry and Robert Anderson; four grandchildren and five stepgrandchildren; two brothers, Ford Nelson, and Rev. Carl Nelson; four sisters, Signe (George) Swanson, Lila (Minnerd) Stark, Ruth (Rudolph) Benander and Stella (Frank) Carlson; several nieces and nephews.
