Sam R. Adair
Services for Sam R. Adair, 3930 E. San Miguel St., will be t 2 p.m. Thursday at the Sunset Chapel Mortuary, Airport Road and Academy Boulevard, with the Rev. Edward Ness officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Mr. Adair died Monday in a Colorado Springs hospital after a lengthy illness. He was 83. Mr. Adair was born May 30, 1898 in Redding, Iowa, and had lived in Colorado Springs for a year. He was a Methodist. Mr. Adair was retired from an oil distributing business in Stratton. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Burlington. Mr. Adair was married Feb. 4, 1925, in Colorado Springs. He was preceded in death by two brothers. Survivors include his wife, Jessie Adair of Colorado Springs, and a brother, Dewey Adair of George, Iowa. Donations may be made to the United Methodist Church in Simla.
