On Sunday, May 28, 2017, of Silver Spring, MD, Charles G. Jackson, Jr, peacefully entered into eternal rest at home in the grace of his loving family. Charles was born December 1, 1930 in Cedar Grove, WV.
He completed school and entered his career of service in the Air Force as a Master Sergeant, Cryptographer. After he completed his four-year service tour, he relocated to Washington, DC where he and Yvonne Lane were joined in marriage and were later joined by their son, Juan. In 1995, they welcomed the addition of their daughter-in-law, Donna, into their loving family.
Charles continued his ongoing education at local universities in Washington, DC for Technical Information Management. He joined the State Department; served an additional 50 years of dedicated service; and reported to the Office of each subsequent Secretary of State and retired in 2007. Charles' life is celebrated by his family and friends who continue to cherish his memory with thanksgiving and love.
