Survivors include wife, Carolyn; son, Randall (Roberta) Allen of Machesney Park; brother, Rev. Howard (Vernis) Allen of Long Beach, Calif.; sister, Helen Swanson of Auburn, Wash.; 2 granddaughters, 2 great grandchildren. Predeceased by daughter, Christine; sister, Hildur Johnson; and brother, Carl Allen.
