Charles Greene ("Tookie Baby") was the youngest of fifteen children born on June 12, 1957 to the late John and Mary Greene, Sr. in Camden, SC.

Charles was educated in the Kershaw County School System. He moved to New York City, where he managed a supermarket. He returned to South Carolina where he was employed by FATZ Cafe. He also owned and operated his own landscaping business for seven years.

Charles enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, family and friends. Charles also had a never ending love for sports, not only did he play, he inspired many young athletes that came behind him.

Charles leaves to cherish his memories; two sons, Jonski Greene of Bronx, NY, Maurice Greene of Garfield, NJ; a daughter, Andrea Greene of Kennesaw, Ga; three grandsons, Nyicere Greene of Camden, Jhalil "GG" Dixon of Kennesaw, Ga and Jonski Greene, Jr. of Bronx, NY; four granddaughters, Amyia Greene of Camden, Teyanna Greene of Lugoff, Janiya Greene of Columbia and Gabrielle Greene of Garfield, NJ; six sisters, Mattie Allen and JoAnn (Willie) McEachern of New York, NY, Sarah Stuckey, Addie Johnson, Gladys Lee and Virginia Greene all of Camden; three brothers, John (Hattie) Greene, Sr., Perry (Edith) Greene and Henry Greene all of Camden and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters and one brother. Charles also leaves to mourn his loss a special friend, Doris Johnson.
