20 November 1808 was the date of his baptism. He was baptized at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Mansura, Louisiana.

Victorin married Pelagé (Pelagie) (Melagie)(Melice) Mayeux on 13 August 1825 in Avoyelles Parish. The religious ceremony took place at the home of the bride's parents on 30 August 1825 and was recorded at St. Paul's in Mansura. They couple had five children: Victorin II, Zelien, Marceline, Philogene, and Alphonse Joseph.

The 31st March 1850 is the date of his burial at St. Paul's/Mansura. The burial record transcription as found in "St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Mansura, Louisiana, Avoyelles Parish, Register of Burials, 1824-1850" identifies him as "Victoria Bordelon". It is unknown if this is strictly a transcription error in the book or if the actual burial record is incorrect. However, based on an Inventory succession record dated 15 April 1850, it is apparent that Victorin was deceased by that time. At the same time, the children belonging to both he and his wife were orphans by the time of the 1850 census and they were living in the homes of different family members.
