Jack Norman Brown, 84, of Douglasville, GA passed away on January 24, 2017. Preceding him in passing are his parents. MR. & Mrs. TR Brown of Elberton, GA; his sister, Mrs. Mildred Ahola of Smyrna, GA; his brother, JT Brown of Elberton, GA; and his grandson, Scott Brown of Hartwell, GA. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Kite Brown; his sons, Donald (Brenda) Brown of Hartwell, GA, Randy (Carol) Elliott of Hiram, GA, and Patrick Brown of Douglasville, GA; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother Benny Brown of Elberton, GA; sisters Clara Owens of Richmond, VA and Linda Straton of Elberton, GA. Mr. Brown retired from Parmalat Dairies and Walmart (Austell, GA), had a passion for gardening and the outdoors and adored his family and home. He was also a member of the Nelms Masonic Lodge in Smyrna, GA. Funeral services were held 1 PM Friday, January 27, 2017 at Carmichael Funeral Home Chapel in Smyrna with Brother Allen Young, Charles Hamby and Chris Brown officiating. Interment will be in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta..
