Services for Lou Ann Curry, 36, Willis, formerly of Canton, were held Thursday, June 10, at Eubank Funeral Home Chapel in Canton with Reverends Larry Dean and Tony Monye officiating. Burial was in Haven of Memories Memorial Park, Canton. Ms. Curry died June 7, 1999, in Conroe.
She was born August 10, 1962, in Grand Saline. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Canton and graduated from Canton High School in 1980. She was preceded in death by a brother, Duane Curry and a stepbrother, James Murray, Jr. Survivors include her father and stepmother, Earl and Joni Curry, Canton; mother and stepfather, Kaye and Jim Murray, Willis; sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Frank Elliott, Canton; half brother, Brian Curry, Quaker Town, PA; grandmother, Oleta Curry, Canotn; stepsister, Melissa Schlemmer, Conroe; step grandparents, Alan and Irene Franklin, St. Augustine; and four nieces. Pallbearers included Jimmy Curry, Doug Ballow, Willie Murray, Charles Murray, Henry Murray and Ted Grierson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation, 6110 Executive Bldg., Suite 1010, Rockville, Maryland, 20852.
