Mildred E. Boone
SPRINGFIELD - Mildred E. Boone, 85, of Springfield died Monday, Nov. 13, 2006, at St. John's Hospital.
She was born Sept. 12, 1921, in Springfield, the daughter of Raymond and Nora Baldwin Davenport. She married Wayne Boone in 1955.
Mrs. Boone was a homemaker and member of West Side Christian Church. She was a former member of the Useless Sisters.
Survivors: husband, Wayne; two daughters, Nancy (husband, John) Warren and Mary (husband, Jerry) Hammitt, both of Springfield; two sons, Johnie Knoles of Springfield and John (wife, Joan) Boone of West Virginia; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private services will be held, Gary Winkleman officiating. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Staab Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
