Mrs. William Kline, 416 Nye st. has received word of the death of her father, Bert Strayer, 50, which occurred at 6:15 a.m. Monday at his home in Rockford. Strayer was an oil contractor and widely known in this vicinity.
Funeral service will be conducted at the residence in Rockford, at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Interment will be in the Fairview cemetery.
