Wes Segler, age 46, of Burns Flat, Oklahoma, passed away after a courageous battle against cancer, Friday, May 19, 2017, at the Veterans Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Wesley was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on November 8, 1970. He is the son of Orval and Susie Segler. Wes had a heart as big as the state he was born in and had the capacity to have a lot of love for a lot of people. He did not have the capacity to say no to anyone. His life was lived to the fullest and there were a lot of rough spots on the road but he was always ready to take the trip. It didn’t matter when or where, Wesley would be on his way if you needed him. He loved his trucks, his dogs and his bike no matter how much trouble they gave him. If he wasn’t fishing, he was working on vehicles. His spare time was full of friends and family and a little bit (lot) of orneriness. Many hours were spent “Cussin and Discussin” in the shop. So many projects were started and “in theory” should have turned out. There are many opinions and feelings for Wes but no one could deny the fact that he was larger than life and lived it to the fullest. Wes leaves behind his parents, Orval and Susie Segler of Hobart, Oklahoma, one brother, Sunny Segler and wife Karen of Dill City, Oklahoma, sister, Peggy Kubitscheck of Elk City, Oklahoma, Angela and husband, Chad Tipps of Piqua, Ohio, nephews, C.J. and Aric Tipps, Dakota Kubitscheck, and nieces, Jessica Reinschmidt, Kaitlin Segler, and Kyrie Tipps and a host of other relatives. He was proceeded in death by a brother, Orval and one nephew, Buddy Segler. Wes was loved and will be missed by so many. Clear skies and open roads for you brother.
